Psychic dreams?

About two years ago I had a dream about being on a boat filled with empty beer cans at night and having my friend tell me to just jump off for the fun of it. I woke up at about 5 am that day. Later on that day, I got a text reading "My dads dead" which at first I thought was a joke. I came to find out that the same friend that was in my dream had experienced a terrible loss. His father was out on a boat at night drunk with a buddy and they crashed. His father died. They found out this news at about 12pm but reporters said that the accident happened at about 5am, the time I woke up from that very coincidental dream. But was it really just a coincidence? Who knows.
