Oh thanks mate. That's very kind. Keep your eyes on my page. I'll put up a 1yr video for sure.
Good Luck with you too. keep picturess updates possibly even a one year video! your voice is awsome. i've always wanted to go to Australia!
Good man, yeah that's the way forward. Less is more with dreads. No need to spend money or spend hours fooling around with it.... just let them be and the magic will happen. Good luck on your journey Austin.
nice haha, i had to look up cm to inches because stupid americans use a different system. haha
the waiting game is a killer. i can't wait see your pictures just make me more and more excited haha. we have kind of the same story of starting dreads except i found this site about a month ago and i havent done anything since.
Yeah it's just getting long enough now to put up. The front dreads don't reach around to the back yet though so I have to tuck them under the side dreads to they don't fall out. I just measured them and the longest dread I have is 17.5cm which is on the top of my head. The dreads at the back are about 12-15cm's.
It's only been in the last 2months that my hair has started to grow. Feels good now, I'm starting to get the length in them which is making me well happy.
I know what it's like.. the waiting came for your dreads to grow is a killer haha... but well worth it of course!
I just checked it out. It looks about 4-6 inches or so mine was almost 4 when i started 2 months ago. i just like seeing people when they started kinda short so i can compare even though all our dreads will be different. haha can you put them in a ponytail at that length right there?how long do you think they are now?
Hey Austin.I just added a before photo. It's quite embarrassing haha. It'll give you a good idea of the length though. My hair is also quite thin and light, I think that is why it took so long for them to start growing length wise.
Wow, they really have become much thicker compared to you 6 month picture. They look really good! how long was your hair before starting?
