basicly in a nutshel, it causes sefvere damage breaking tons of hairsa thatr then pop out so u crochet again breaking more

it also severely overr tightens so they dont dread and they get stiff and 1/3 the thickness of a healthy dread

so 1 single uuse just to start delays dreading by 6 months and you can spot the stiffnesds up to 3 years later

during the recovery they get extreme frizz 100 times worse then any other method thqats just the broken hairs popping out everyewhere

additionaly they will feel rough and scratchy and if you continue to crochet they cxan get severely weeak

to the point they jjust fall off
