it bunches up

take a string

roll it into a ball

then strectch it back out

your hair was never any different length it just wasnt straight no more

ok to put it in star treck technologyy terms

typically you think the shortest distance between 2 points is a straight line

but warp technokogy works by crunching up space moving those 2 points closer together

or for a vissual reference

heres a 10 inch hair

the same hair length takes up 1/2 the space

stretch the /\/\/\ back out to _____

and its still the same length it ever was just stretch ed back out
