Welcome. If you're looking for the method with the least stress on your scalp, Natural is best. But I know that not everyone is ready for that. If you are one of those people (don't be ashamed, I was too), TnR is MUCH better than back combing. TnR does the least amount of damage. Back combing does huge amounts of damage (Still better than crocheting, by far), but it pulls out tons of hairs and tares your locks up from the get go.

however most that tnr wish they went natural..many enough to start over ..even after a couple years of progress
