You can't get wax out wit just soap and water. Because wax is a hydrocarbon, you need a detergent and a lot of scrubbing. It can take 2-3 sessions a week for 2-4 months to get all of the wax out.
If you need, I can give you a step by step instructions on ho to start cleaning out the wax. There is a also a good wax removal instructions in the dreaducation pages
