these look incredible! how often are you washing? are you still using the natures gate shampoo?
I know, right? I don't have dreads; I have scribbles.
Day 149
Day 111
Note: about 3 washes ago, I switched to Nature's Gate brand tea tree shampoo. All cruelty free and vegan ingredients. Really helps with dryness and itching on the scalp, no sulfates, smells minty and wonderful. I get it at WalMart in the area with Burt's Bees and other natural HBA items. I don't think I'm going to need any separate conditioner with this. My locks are soft, but not loose. I love it.
Day 96
Mine is, too. I just got a loose spiral perm a little while before I started dreading. The perm made my hair naturally start sectioning off, and I think it was what made all this possible. I didn't get the perm with an eye toward what it would do when I started dreading, I just needed something to add some life to my baby-fine, bone-straight, hug-my-head hair.My own hair is very fine, silky and straight, so it needed a little boost to get going. ;P
Day 89
It's Aliiiiiive!
