they've actually been LOTS better since I been ripping at them and keeping them apart by playing with them, i think i'm kind of teaching them to go different directions lol.

Hi! Big knitter here....Lol Angora is yarn made from rabbit fur, wool is from sheep...totally different. Angora is soft and beautiful, feels like a cloud but I would recommend the wool. I mean, heck, angora is fabulous no doubt and if you can ever own some get it and enjoy! Better to wear something than nothing...but to help your knotting wool is the way to go : )
