A bell... Eh, I was close.
My husband plays. I've tried but I've never been able to get it right. We have two. I honestly couldn't tell you exactly what they are made out of, but my favortite ones are the ones that have the big flaired(?) end. I don't think thats the proper name for them, but its like a bell on the end. I agree that no two sound the same. It depends on what they're made of, how their made and how you play. All sound beautiful though. I, as well and my two children (2 & 5) love the sound. I think it's a very soothing sound.
Good luck with finding the one that fits you and learning to play. It's a truely amazing instrument!
I don't completely agree with this for my life. You have to LOVE your job in order to be the same, happy person. I have worked in Babylon since I was 15(now 22), and had several different types of jobs.. I have yet to find a job that I love as much as working with great people in nature. I feel like working in Babylon in pointless, even though I know it's not caus you need a house and a car, yada, yada, yada. I would much rather work for a place to stay and food to eat, than work for a money. For a company that tells me who I can and can't be. Maybe It's because I have had nothing but bad experiences with jobs in Babylon, but I hate it here. I would love nothing more than being able to travel around the country with my kids. But thats just me....
<3 namaste.

I love the fact that I have a career.. Just because you have a decent job, it doesn't have to drag you down. Work or no work your still the same person.
I feel this need quite often, as well, SE! Sadly, living in babylon, with two (soon to be 3) young children, it's very hard to get away sometimes.I am curious.... How do you do the log roll thing? That looks pretty awesome!!!
