well i had never seen skinny freeform locs on an african american b4 so i wasn't sure if it could be done
most non free-formers palm roll after acertainlength tho.
plus her locs are skinny yet long and healthy, you can clearly see she didn't freeform.
soapparently u CAN maintain locs and avoid balding.
i was just showing that her's are maintained, lasted 17 years( she said she cut them 3 times), and dont show signs of bading.

i didnt think my thread would get THIS epic ,
anyway idecidedto stick to maintaining but decrease maintenanceas i go, illprobablycombine as i go. I mean its not THAT serious to me. Like i said , ill most likely keep them at mid chest-length and stop twisting at about the 3 or 4 year mark so that the freeformed part grows in while the maintained slowly gets trimmed away.

so im gonna go bald after ive stated
1. i dont latch
2. im gonna decrease twisting as my hair gets longer
3. i plan to maintain it my self soon so no more salon visits after i hit my year mark

i didn't get told this by salons tho. this is from peopl who where denied jobs because of their hair.
its POSSIBLE to get a good job but your appearce can still hender u from getting certain jobs.
