how much water an how many drops should i use? NaturalWomyn said:
ooh tea tree is great for soo many things. Its a wonderful antiseptic and it's great for the itchies its a bug repellent as well. If you mix it with your baking soda wash it helps scalp problems. There's probably a million different uses. I would dilute it with water before use it's very strong.

its pulp free but 24g of sugarso guess thats a noill probably just rinse again when it dries some morei dont think its too much skin when i scrape my scalp i could clearly see the baking sodai soaked it maybe like 5-10 mins soaringeagle said:
im thinking dead skin then how long did u soak if i dont soak a good long time i might still habvve a lil skin here n there i can scrape off

orange juice will be ok if its not pulpy or has added sugar its not the best tho but a tiny but way diluted and make sure thyeres no pulp will be ok to just raise the aciddity of the rinse water

but it probly is skin..

how loong did u7 sosak?

im sure its baking soda
i filled up bout half a pot cause i didnt have too much left
broke up all the clumps
poured it on rinsed twice
an now if i like scratch my head in some places i get baking soda all up in ma nails
that cant be too good?

soaringeagle said:
i dunno how thats possible if iu purt it in water and break up the clumps and swirlo it around it should become as thin as water so how can it leave any buildup are u sure its baking soda not just some danderuff like stuff that didnt come out or did u use way too much baking soda or not mix it up?

did u do9 the acv rinse after?

im just really sure how baking soda can possibly be left over if theres a clump from not mixing well then wet it break up the clump and rinse.

it should rinse out super easy.

thats what i thought!then i washed a second time an its still there.. Knottysleeves said:
You probably just didn't rinse well enough. Try a splash of ACV or lemon juice in your next rinse... it'll react with any stray bits of baking soda and then you can rinse it all away cleanly.

if you used dread wax before would you recommend dread wax? poll

Dread Products

i think it can only depend on the customer and how informed they are about dreadlocks and care.for ex. several people ive talked to are all " beeswax that'll lock it right up" whereas i have already used it an i know that its just a bothersome thing to do & many people here would agreebut for those who are ignorant to what it actually does then there gonna benefit those companyswax is just another thing to make moneythey could care less about strong healthy dreadsi sayFIGHT THE POWER! soaringeagle said:
do you think those companies constsantly pushing wax is helping theyre business or hurting it? (lets make that a number 11) in fact ill add it to original post
