ooh tea tree is great for soo many things. Its a wonderful antiseptic and it's great for the itchies its a bug repellent as well. If you mix it with your baking soda wash it helps scalp problems. There's probably a million different uses. I would dilute it with water before use it's very strong.
im thinking dead skin then how long did u soak if i dont soak a good long time i might still habvve a lil skin here n there i can scrape off
orange juice will be ok if its not pulpy or has added sugar its not the best tho but a tiny but way diluted and make sure thyeres no pulp will be ok to just raise the aciddity of the rinse water
but it probly is skin..

actualy i do remember seeing a dude on youtube who had white roots he said from baking soda and aparantly he just made a thick paste and smashed it all over his head and left it on..not sure thats a good way to do things

i filled up bout half a pot cause i didnt have too much left
broke up all the clumps
poured it on rinsed twice
an now if i like scratch my head in some places i get baking soda all up in ma nails

im just really sure how baking soda can possibly be left over if theres a clump from not mixing well then wet it break up the clump and rinse.
it should rinse out super easy.

You probably just didn't rinse well enough. Try a splash of ACV or lemon juice in your next rinse... it'll react with any stray bits of baking soda and then you can rinse it all away cleanly.
