My hair isn't really greasy at all now, it's much better and only after about 3 days does it start to become greasy. Or is that still not enough? I don't mind, just don't want to damage my hair as i've heard just using baking soda can dry out your hair and make it brittle which i haven't had happen to me yet.

Anyone? I'm using 2 tablespoons of baking soda to a 500ml water bottle. It's cleaning my hair really well and it's looking much better. So now my hair has adjusted should i start using the vinegar or can i get away without it? I'm a bit concerned about damaging my hair.

Just an update - my hair has adjusted to the baking soda, it's no longer as greasy and i only need to wash it every 3 days! can i just use the baking soda or do i need to balance it out with the vinegar?

HI again.. I tried 1 litre this time and it's still the same, i also tried using more baking soda and it didn't make a difference at all

That's a perfect amount of BS to that much water. But I'd recommend using a larger quantity of the mixture. .5L is not much at all. I wouldn't use any less than 1 liter. When I wash mine with BS, I make 2x1L batches. .5L isn't enough to thoroughly clean your scalp and hair.

I have done it around 2 - 3 times so far, with a day in between otherwise my hair will be really oily. I'm also towel drying the way you recommended.

Hi again - Do you think i would benefit from spraying my hair with a sea salt texturing spray? i have read that sea salt helps the dreading process.

Thanks sirick, you're right i bought 200g of bicarbonate of soda from asdas think it cost me about 1.29, they didnt have anything bigger than that. I couldn't find the apple cider vinegar in there so will have a look on amazon.

You might find bicarbonate of soda kind of expensive in stores and only in small amounts, I know I did.
I would recommend looking on Amazon for some cheaper buys, buying in bulk is definitely the way to go to save a lot of money.
