Thank you everyone!!!
haii dood, what i usually do is scratch my head a little before i wash it and get all the flakies out. I think right now your scalp is rejecting the fact that you're not usually all the chemicals in regular shampoo that keeps your skin all soft. pepperment oil stops the itches. also it's winter dandruff is kind of normal for dry weather so no worries man it'll clear out.
i still have dandruff but it is not too annoying like it was for 5 months.
i had dandruff for 5 months. Extreme dandruff. Psoriasis. Now i'm using essential oils [spike lavender and rosemary] on my washings, and i'm really thinking that it worked. I washed only 3 times with these oils, and since the beginning of the month, my hairline is like my psoriasis was cured, and even when i sweat too much [here in SP, Brazil is summer, and it is VERY HOT] my scalp is not producing too much of dandruff... i think it worked.
It's natural for your head to freak out a bit, even if it's uncomfortable and not very cute.Try rinsing with cold water. The bs/acv is good for dandruff/flakes/itching too. Some oils added to it to help even more, tea tree oil is antibacterial so it'll help clean up funky stuff on your skin, lavender does some of the same and helps keep mold and mildew out and rosemary... I can't remember but it's awesome, helps a lot with the itchies.
I find the dreadlockssoap too drying with my water, so I currently alternate between their soap and the BS/ACV deal. I also find that if I wait till the morning of day 4 to wash, that is too long, and much dandruff appears. Day 3 is my limit.
stop using hot water?
