well anywhere near water, and thats has climate suitable to grow a garden. i was thinking either california, canada , but it doesn't matter much to me.
i found some info on the roundhouse community , but i cant find any on the mesa.
have you had experience with these?

suggest you spend some time at Fellowship for Intentional Communities - IC.org . The site is free, and they host the world's largest database of intentional communities.
I always recommend folks read Diana Leafe Christian's books - Finding Community , and Creating a Life Together. You should be able to get used copies for not too much money.
Sounds like you are new to the world of intentional communities, for what it is worth, the failure rate for ICs under 10 years old is something like 90%. No Kidding.
yeah ive been looking there, but alot of there information is a couple years old.
