about sectioning...

hey guys! so im 1 week into my natural dreads and my hair is starting to section. they are in coils but the problem is the coils are creating layers so i cant really see the roots. how can i seperate them? or will i be able to see them as the section more and more?

also another question... when will they fully section?

Maybe wait another week, and you will be able to feel it out. Your hair will show you where it wants to be....

How long is your hair now? And btw, props on going natural, it takes lots of patience but the outcome is totally worth it..

When they're more defined sections, you'll be able to feel it, and then you'll be able to tell when they need separating
