Your hair will go through phases of locking and loosening. It's normal. Stop backcoming and let them do their thing. Take the bands out, as others have said. Be patient (I know it's hard). Remember that less is more. The less you mess with them, the more they lock and become real dreads (not insta-dreads).Enjoy your journey!!!!!
