Dying baby dreads

My dreadlocks are only about 1 1/2 months old. I really want to dye them red though. I have brown hair and I was NOT planning on bleaching first. Anyway what I wanted to know was what's the best method and dye to use and also is it even a good to dye my hair when my dreads are this young? Thanks in advance

I would wait until they mature Like I'm doing with mine.
