quick question about hard water

hi there! im pretty new to all this but i have a question and i would be very grateful if someone could answear. ive read that if you have hard water you shouldnt use dr bronners, but my question is exactly why is it that way? my hair wont get dreaded then? peace n love to u all

well, dr. bronners is a castille soap. meaning its oil based. a true soap. when you have hard water the minerals will bind to the oils in the soap and won't rinse away. thats why detergents were created. detergents remove these minerals but also will strip your hairs natural oils. thats why we have conditioner. its an evil cycle really.

try the http://shop.dreadlockshampoo.com/ soap! It works really well in hard water :)
