welcome sister but umm dreads should be washed and not just held together in sticky stuff in fact u want nothing sticky in them just clean hair and a note of warning a couple with honey in their dreads went hiking in the woods .. a bear was attracted to the honey and killed them both..bees will also be attracted and bugs flies mosquitoes u name it u want to wash all the honey out and put nothing in them just keep em clean so they dread
