That sucks man. But you really can't tell it is gone. They still look fine. Even so, let that be a lesson to all the newcomers.

I have a few other knots that I tied in other locks years and years ago. I know they will eventually do the same thing, too.
ive tied knots in weak points too years ago and every single 1 i did that to broke off too
