rubber bands are constricting this causes weak spots
after just a few days removing them unknots knots that formed
after just a week they can become partialy or completely swallowed by the dread stuck inside to dry rot forever
they can melt inro a sticky goo too that is impossible to remove
they can break into small peices leaving chunks inside forever
etc etc
rubber bands are just bad news..and damage the hair too
and they do nothing good to help dreading
