they will say 'your hair will never dread on its own' to people who already are 1/2 dreaded naturaly in under a week ...they just want yoir money

all hair will dread naturally no matter the texture  or thickness

it might dread fast or slow  but it will dread

have you ever gone a week withoit conditioners and had to comb out knots  those tangles and knots would become dreads

you can let it section itself if your sure you want to use twist and rip  it will section itself in a week or 2...or less

just make sure no sections are too big at the scalp

but by all means cancle that loctician apointment it will take 5 months to even begin to dread if ucrochet and over 3 years to recover from 1 single crochet use

and they will always be severely dxamaged..for life
