Nobody really pays it any attention, but be mindful of speciesism. Mammals have a lot more in common than people give credit. Should the life of a person really be that much more important than that of a cat or dog? How do we care so much for our pets, yet so little about other animals?

Think my last comment was a bit strong, i just dont like folks that have a go at over people for living there lives how they want too as long as they dont hurt anyone else with what there doing, i think it should be live and let live a folks should mind there own buisness, its just a shame we dont live in a world like that to many folks like to butt in and have ago at people that are a bit different or choose to live a different life style or are a different colour i dont like this,

Over the years this had made me realise that some times you have to fight back or you will end up in a ditch.

humanity needs to learn to love and understand. you can't have one without the other. i think the problem is so many people can't love. so in turn they can't understand. that's why there is so much stereotypes against dreads. people don't choose to understand, and in turn can't love.

Cool! I wanna check those books out...thank you!

a couple of books that got me thinking deeper about things were "sombodies and nobodies: overcoming the abuse of rank" and "nobody passes: rejecting the rules of gender and conformity" interesting books. Down with the "isms"!!

It amazes me how generous and selfless people can be, Panterra included of course ;)

I have a homeless friend (Scott) who I have given money, food, a place to crash when he wants and washed his clothes. He in return has given me friendship and without being asked watered my plants and "beautified" my yard when I was gone. Wouldn't irt be nice if the whole world operated this way and as the story SE mentioned?

Love the quotes guys :) and I thank you all for joining. After witnessing some racist comments, sadly enough on here, it felt like it was time to make a group like this.
I try to do my best not to judge someone before I have met them or talked with them, unless I've already heard a lot about them from other people. And I'm usually pretty good.

I will admit that I seem to make judgments too quickly with some "bimbo" looking girls... but even then I try catching myself and saying, it's just the way they choose to dress and express themselves, it doesn't mean they're shallow stuck up princesses.. sometimes I'm pleasantly surprised, however sometimes it's just exactly what I expect..

That's like one of the only things I'm still trying to work out of myself, and stop doing.
