So when i started my babies over in august natural, twist and rip when i needed and its never felt any healthier, my dreads dont weigh me down, they're not stickyJust soft woth its amazing loose ends. Probably like,a thousand things on this, but here's mine anyway. Im writing this 'cause my friend just re-started her dreads the natural way after using dread head hq wax.

starting dreads, maintaining them, however with anywax honestlyy, is just horrible man, its so sticky and crap, it hurts the hair worse than anything, its the hardest thing to get out,

i wish i would've took a picture of her dreads before she took them out and restarted, its like holding, a melted ice cream cone in your hand and letting the stickyness just stay in your hand.

so she started over the natural way, letting it lock over time, using sea salt and organic shampoo and such(with my help)

If you want your dreads to lock quicker, use orangic stuff, sea salt, but like, you see wax? run away. literally dude.

I'm Alex, my account got deleted twice cause some people just love the hacking, but its all steezy now, anyway, After i had to cut my dreads in july(saddest moment ever), i started over, did nothing to my hair but wash it(baking soda andsome lime washing),thanks to this site, and my dreads of 3 months dude, are like, halfway locked, and almost to my chin, its growing way fast dude.

Oh, and does anyone know how to make beads to fit your dreads? I've been using shells and want some new stuff to add to my babbies.

also, my karate teacher told me that light exercise won't only just let your blood flow, but like, helps your hair grow, soo sick.

Introduce Yourself

So if you know me Im Alexander(Alika in hawaii) and.. my dreads were my life.

I cut them off for my mom because she wouldn't stop hrassing me for having them.

Complaining about colleges not acecepting me because of dreads, jobs not hiring me because of dreads(even though when i cut them off NOONE hired me anyway)

So in June we cut my babys off. I peered at a few and saw leftover wax still in them from years ago! She argues it was good to cut them off. But i argue that she ruined my journey.

anyhow. My hairs not too short, and she agreed once i get in college i can start my dreads again.. but this isn't up to her. its my hair. so i took over and said. by the begiining of 2012 im starting my dreads whether you like it or not. Pretty intense arguing back and fourth. But i figured if i didn't live my life MY way. I''d never achieve my goals.

So my cousin zack(had dreads for a 1 year now) has dreads by the Rasta way. He told me before i start again that i need to know the history and love of dreads. and why i wanted to start my journey in the first place.

So that's why im here on dreadlockssite once again. So i can relearn the meaning of growing my dreads in the first place.

i figure that ill start sectioning by january when i finish highschool.

if anyone has any advice after this horribly long story. Leave me some help!
