Are beads ruining my dreads?

I have lots of wooden beads that normally I only wear on weekends. I think they might be ripping out some hairs from my dreads because they get snagged on the edges of the beads. Do you think that that's likely or does it not make sense? :/

White water rafting with my new dreadies

HeeelllooooTomorrow I'm leaving for INDIA :D for a school trip where I'm going to be white water rafting for a week. My dreadies are only about 2 weeks old and they're quite loose so I'm a bit scared about what's gonna happen to them with all of the swooshy water and stuff :pI'm gonna have a helmet, will that keep them from getting messed up?

Hello friendios, my dreads are about a week old and they were crocheted and backcombed. I read somewhere that salt water is good for dreads and helps them get drier and tighten up or something like that. So I went on a boat trip today and I went swimming in the sea and now my dreads are reaallyy reaallyy soft and frizzy. Does that happen before they lock up or something??? What should I do?ps: My face looks stupid in the picture and it's sunburned so ignore it :p

Help for a dreads noob?

I got my dreads crocheted and backcombed (I know I know... I just found out it's bad. Hopefully they'll recover) 3 days ago and I haven't washed them yet. I read in some places that I should wait 6 days before washing and in others a month. The problem is my hair is starting to get pretty stinky already and some of my dreads are coming loose.My hair is blondeish ginger so it's quite thin and gets greasy pretty easily. My hair wasn't that clean when I got them dreaded so I'm not really sure what to do.What shampoo do you recommend? One that I can get somewhere in Hong Kong preferably.Also, what do you guys use to make your dreads smell nicer when you're not washing them?And what should I do about the loose ones?
