My hairs seeming a lil dry and not as healthy as it was, i never use conditioner because it would mess with the dreading process, but now alot of my dreads are locked up, what would happen if i did?
are they any other ways to moisturize without residue?
preciate any help! thanks!
P.s. Happee Earth Day!
ive been dreading for 5 months now and theyre coming along good.
im doin it all natural so theyre kind of sectioning themselves off and i just seperate if they start eating eachother.
bbut some of them are sectioning off small.
does that make a weak dread? should i try to join the small ones with bigger ones?
I started mine the last week in May so I guess I am about 5-6 weeks in. Just stop combing and after about 2 weeks you will see the hair start to cluster together naturally. I did a little twist and rip around my face because I was afraid they would clump too fat. But the reality is that the totally natural dreads at the back of my head are my absolute favorites. No backkcombing is necessary because they will knot totally naturally and my t&r dreads are maturing at exactly the same rate as the totally natural ones. If I find dreads that have formed perfect sizes for me then I slip a bead onto them. If they are clustering too fat then I tear them apart. But they will do all the work on their own and you can just relax
are u black?
if so it works great
if not well it can help and hurt both
twisting it lil can get it into sections even stasrt it knotting but twisting alot can also unknot it
and well with ripping apart the knotrs u only want to rip sections that are eatting eachouther
say u have 2 sections next to eachother that are starting to dread then sudenly u find hairs from 1 connecting to the other
to prevent the 2 ferom getting mattied and joining as 1 dread tou seperate them breaking that bond

but should i still separate the knots and evrythin right?
and people are tellin me to twist my hair where i want the dread, does that actually work?
