I need some tips for sleeping

Dread Maintenance

I have been sleeping with it loose ...getting used to it..thank you everyone for your help. I try to wear it down during the day too but sometimes feel the need to pull it back. I like the feeling of no hair in my face

David Icke Debunking Himalayan Salt?

Dread Products

I would trust Vicki's products because she wants to use only the best stuff..and you can tell by the results when you use her products. I can feel her energy off of the products and can tell all is good. I am glad you posted this though because I was unaware of theHimalayan salt.I make my own spray using Sea salt and water and a few drops oflavender ess. oil. I have heard not to use lemon juice because it drys out the hair to much and can cause breakage.

Dying hair & Dying dreads

Yes Soaring Eagle I would love to just go natural...but it was our deal that she pay me in highlights for the photography work I did. I feel kinda bad if I dont go ahead and do something

Karma Magic lock up Gel

Dread Products

Does anyone have a new unscented lock up gel that they wished they had bought Karma? Would anyone be willing to do a trade? If its fairly new. I just got Karma and I know it has to do with my brain injury but I can't stomach the strong smell... I'm so bummed out about this...I should have got unscented but loved the dragon blood shampoo so much I just assumed I'd love this. I did send her an email to see if I could trade it so I hope she will let me do that.:(

Natural Hair Dyes

General Questions

Thanks Soaring Eagle for those tips! Also you could use Black Walnut hulls but DONOT get it on any skin you do not want dyed. It stains. Soon I will have to accept my greys as well as many are coming in.

Dying hair & Dying dreads

Dread Accessories

I am asking this question because I have been set for an appointment for months to have my hair high lighted. It was a business trade...I did photographs in trade for this..so its owed to me a 120$ value. She also has products that are earth friendly and cruelty free ..however Im in the process of dreading. Its not a huge deal if I have to start over with neglect..the front half of my head is twist and rip so I was thinking I wont have her touch those. I am just not sure about doing all this ..what are your opinions

2 important things u can do to help dreadlockssite

General Talk

I get it so click love and then click to the right ..G+ Good idea. It is very important to not spam like you said however posting that photo I made to your own facebooks is good too. Donations can be 5$ they all add up... more is better but anything is better then nothing. I know we would have all been lost with out this website

I need some tips for sleeping

Dread Maintenance

I will keep trying, thank you all for the suggestions. I tried throwing it up over the pillow last night ..it was really annoying. Even wearing them down during the day is going to take some getting used to

Questions about half twist n ripped hair

Dread Maintenance

I am sure this topic is out there by many other people, however I am new here and still learning to navigate around the website. I started by Twist n rip method...I did the entire front n top half of my head as the sections started to section off naturally. So my baby dreads are all different in age just by a matter of days n weeks. Any ways, I still have the back half of my head to go but as I read on I am learning that "natural" is the best way to go...is it to late to go natural for the back half of my hair? I am just afraid the front will suck up hairs. 2. has anyone that has done twist n rip noticed that the roots get loose and split? I stopped palm rolling and I have been justseparating, took out beads and am trying my best to go with the flow. 3. How much shrinkage is expected with TnR?
