Introduce Yourself

Good morning to all. Ive been neglecting my hair for almost 11 months now (January 13th) getting ever closer to the 1 year anniversary of letting it all go. Now, there was a period of time (less than a week, a week total including random occurrences) where i towel rubbed my hair, however I did it sparingly and ultimately stopped completely because I felt it wasn't the best thing for my scalp or the roots of my hair. I don't really use shampoo or dreadsoap or anything like that, I just rinse it whenever I feel its necessary or when I get dirty. Even before I decided to embark on this journey I only washed my hair once every couple of months because everytime I washed it seemed to rip the life out of my hair. I take cold showers only (yes even in winter) which keeps my scalp pretty clean and my hair very thick and lively. Look forward to sharing my progress with you all and interacting. Good day.

here's a link to my youtube videos i just started making to track the growth since i got a smartphone again lol

from my own personal experience the natural oils haven't seemed to hinder my hair from knotting up and locking. i only rinse my hair as opposed to using shampoos and what not and believe it or not im always complimented on not only the way my hair looks but the way it smells as well lol everybody's different but from my experience i dont really think it hinders any part of the dreading process
