Yeah there seems to be a few grey areas re: what is technically natural. I did twist & rip to start mine bit it was already long & I needed to keep a little control. Haven't done any other stuff apart from making sure they don't Congo just yet. If I was to start from short hair though I reckon I would go completely natural with no tampering at all. Everyone should make their own choice, just try not to do anything damaging that you may regret down the track:)
