neither's really a perfect option  and you should consider an actual dreads shampoo but these are marginally safe enough.. well not bronners if your waters hard ..some say the bronners bars  are safer in moderately hard water then the liquid though.. but can't say for sure i won't ever use anything but dreadlockshampoo.com anymore

bronners but thats not that much cheaper and no good in hard water.  depends where you live. some use trader joes teatree tingle without issues
