I started dreading last year and got to about 5 months when someone convinced me to take them out and redo them. (Wish I didn’t) It’s been about 6 months and I haven’t brushed it since. They’re full on neglect, I have a hard time even keeping them separated. When I do I use the pulling from the root method rather than ripping and popping. No products other than all natural shampoos. My favorite is Black Vanilla by Carols Daughter. They’re really natty and unkempt but I love it. A lot of them have sqinched up into short pancakes, which I’m not a huge fan of but I know it’s just part of the process. I wanna meet other dreadheads especially in the San Antonio/Austin area.
