if they stay damp lomng periods but in summer heart i pass out if i dont dribble waer over my head to cool mu brain almost all the time while oi=ut as klong as it dries completely its fine its only an issue if they stay damp long periods..or get tied up or tucked in a tam when damp

jojoba is the closest thing to your skin and hairs natural oils so is healthiest aloes good too if pure
twustings only reallu ised in african hair so its a pretty safe bet whenever anyone mentions twusting..except in the case of salons that are totaly clueluess and try starting dreads by twusting in other hair types..wich wont work

Both just seems like overkill to me, but if that's what it really takes to prevent breakage then I guess it would be more helpful than harmful to the dreading process.
well meagan african hair breaks if not kept moisturized we have oils that do it for us thiers wiont let the oils get to the hair and the skins naturallu dryer too many way overdo it with heavy greases but they do need some moisture often just not anythging heavy that by[uilds up..

Welcome to the site! SE's already informed you about the dangers of retwisting, but I have to add something about conditioning. It really keeps hair from knotting up like it should. All you need is a good shampoo and keep your dreads clean. People use leave in and deep conditioners to remove dreads, you won't really see much progress if you keep them conditioned. Keeping them dampened is also a good way to get mold. Mold thrives in damp, dark places like dreads that are continually dampened. Dreads should only get wet for washing. Clean, dry hair locks up, not damp, conditioned hair. Not to critisize or be offensive or anything, everyone's here only to help and learn=]
locking takes time..longer then 8 weeks and it has to i[-unravel in orfder to lock stop wastuing tuime and money ..wash it often and thats it leat it go it dreads itself ut doesnt need to be forced
if wazx was ised even once it will never lock right till the wax is gonme

welcome but you should look aroungd here at the devestating damage retwisting can cause! it leads to balding
dreads should ever be retwisted it kills the bloodflow to the hair roots wich die and dont grow back
