they look amazing
we had a couple others that took that long and turned out drool worthy
but i would recommend a shampoo change
try dreadlockshampoo.com liquid for ..i dunno several months or so when you feel they are more mature use the bar
i think you'll notice an improvement
Thank you for having me and the quick response! I'm excited to be here and learn as much as possible from the community!
Ive been experiencing this time of uncertainty about my dreads because I've been waiting for them to "mature" but it's been four years for me and I have a lot of hair that just won't lock. So I've stopped separating as much trying to get some decent sized locks, but in places I just get a puff of matted hair, like literally a big ball. They aren't dread like at all and I don't know how to deal with them or if I should separate them or let them be. I've considered trying to find someone that can help me look at them and feel them out because I have no idea what to do at this point and they kinda drive me crazy. On the other hand I have some dreads that are really nice sized and look nice and feel strong so that's made me not want to give up! My hair is naturally fine and slightly wavy so I knew my hair would take longer to lock up than some others but still is 4 years reasonable still be experiencing this.? Most people that complain about this are like half a year or something!
Please help me I feel so alone with my dreads! Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
Sincerely, Wonder
I will post a picture of my dreads now to my profile later today!
welcome i had that many for awhile then stopped separating
they were already past the floor by that point though.. dont worry about them being thin unless your constantly getting tangled in them
too many dreads become too hard to keep track of
