hate to tell ya this but wax is really a bad idea thbey wont dread right with wax in them use the wax removers to get it all out
(also constant twisting can weaken the roots and thin them better to leave em alone)

yea any wax is bad but some are extra hard to remove
some ppl use surfboard wax thats made to be extremely ghasrd to remove.. thats the worse
under the dreaducation link in the main menu is dread wax removal
plus www.dreadlockshampoo.com has a wax remover now too which works well
