not that i know of if it gets very bad and infects the scalp with a fungal infection then temporary loss ..possibly the thinning you gots from the maintenanve i guaranteee .. the rot knot will kill the mold (was wax used if so wax b gone 1st then wsh then rot knot then wash) both squeeze in deep use as much ass you neeed leave in 10 min or longer wax b goe use hot water..hot as you can safely)
the hair will recover using the massage technique panterra gave you and biotin
