Velkommen Marthe to the community and the best site on the web for healthy dreadlocks. Wow, sounds like you have a houseful. The baking soda wash is fantastic, do you follow it with an apple cider vinegar rinse? It balances back the hairs PH levels. 1-2 capfuls of ACV to 5 cups water, just pour this over your head after you rinse out the BS, leave on for one minute and rinse out. Keeps the dreads nice and soft too. Congrats on starting your journey again, you must have missed them.... Palm rolling may cause future damage to dreads, no need to maintain them that way, http://www.dreadlockssite.com/video/why-not-to-palm-roll
