Oooh, that reminded me that there is an Apothecary I need to go visit! Haha! Thanks!
Typically, the faire families are rather incestuous in their activities. I'm one of the rare few that ONLY works at 1 faire. As I said, my bf does Ren, Dickens, Steam, Pirate, etc... he's even done multiple Ren's. It wouldn't surprise me if the Apothecary was involved in other faire activities in some way.
Very cool. I want to work with theApothecarywith the Rev War regiment. I don't know if he, specifically does other faires, but I know their blacksmith does
Wow, that's cool! The Ren Faire definitely takes up a LOT of time so I don't really stray into the other faires/cons but, my bf in a couple of weeks is going to start working on building his booth for the Dickens Faire (where he will essentially live until the end of the year) and he also does some of the Steampunk events now. The same booth that he manages makes appearances at Civil War events as well but he has never worked those.
I hear you. Good luck with the suit. I had to sue a landlord a few years ago. No fun at all. It took over a year to get any money from it.
Those faires are great. I haven't been to one in a while, but When I get some free time I will. Liza and I are into revolutionary war reenactors now, and I want to take a more active role in it. Some of the places they do shows at allow them to camp out and spend a weekend living like they did in the 1700's Even after the crowds leave, they don't leave the time period
I'm hoping I will get more time to pop in... probably not as much as before though. I am in the middle of a lawsuit, just transferred to a new school and working on my BS, still working part time and raising a child :P
But, I should be able to swing in. All of my other free time in the past few months was sucked up by the Renaissance Faire (building a booth, participating and living half of my week in a tent isn't very conducive to being on a computer.)

Looking good. Did you just come back to show us your progress or are you sticking around for a while?
