Welcome. Eagle's right. Unfortunately, even light crocheting does enormous amounts of damage. It won't show up as quickly as if you did it often, but it still will. Every pass of the hook rips hundreds of hairs into smaller and smaller pieces. This can never heal. But given sufficient time, gently crocheted locks can recover.

welcome the crochet was a bad idea and might slow rgings drasticly if it uindeed was very lil then it might not be so bad..but crochet hooks should never be used on dreads..ever
