how can i speed up my new growth knoting up
Always wash it out. When salt stays in your hair and scalp, it continues to dry it out even after the water dries. This makes your scalp itch and your hair brittle.
@baba fats ok thanks, now i heard when you put sea salt, blow dry hair while the sea salt in it, or should you wash it out and let it dry on its own
I wash 3 times a week, and use sea salt 2-3 times. Just as long as you don't let it sit there for a while, you should be ok to use it every time you wash.
If your hair starts to get brittle, stop using it
@soaring eagle thats with the baking soda mix right
@baba fats its good how many times a week to use sea salt
i wash 2 times a week 1-3 is recomended
washing will help them lock up
There's not much you can do that will help lockup your roots without destroying them. Sea salt will help. But that's all you should do. Just soak your hair in it 1-2 hours before you wash them. Don't let the sat stay in longer than that
so use the sea salt tell they start locking up, how many times a week to use sea salt, and how often do you wash your dreads a week
your dreads are 6 years old thats as mature as they ever wiobe the roots are as tight as can be without causing harm
if yiu condition alot slack off a week or 2 and see the fuzz at the scalp start to lock
i condition alot till i have alot of regrowth then switch to sea salt a week or 2 and it locks up
