welcome but wax is a huge mistake and must be removed it never washes out..its a scam and it actualy prevents dreading but it glues hair together to look like dreads (except stiffer) it traps dirt and moisture and causes dreads to rot from the inside

dont panic though we have ways to remove wax

Welcome. But the wax is really preventing your locks from maturing. At 3 years they should becompletelymature. But from using wax, I'm sure they aren't. Wax seeps into the core of your locks are hardens there to give the illusion of maturity, bu if you actually spend the time to wash it out, you'll notice that they will come apart.

It is also a hydrocarbon. Which means that normal soap and water will not wash it out, ever. you need a detergent to clean it out. What have you been washing with?
