I take one before bed (most nights) I did take it every single night for years but I have been a bit slack for the past few months. I think it has improved the growth of my hair. I highly recommend it. I take 10,000 mcg. Your body does not store it. So what your body does not use is expelled through urine. My oldest daughter will not take it. She believes it breaks out her face. I have never had that issue personally but other people have.
Yeah, biotin really does speed up hair growth.. From personal experience.
I've been told to take this for my hair...to improve the health and regrowth. Does it really work? If your hair is proof, then I know it must. Guess I'll be buying some soon.
I have been taking it every day for almost 3 years. I have never had a problem. As Rafael said some people claim that it causes facial breakouts. My oldest daughter got a few small blemishes but I am not 100% that it was because of the biotin. She only took it for a short time. If she had taken it longer perhaps her skin would have adjusted. Biotin is not stored in your body. Any excess is released in your urine. I would not want to take more than the 10,000 mcg because it would just be a waste.
None, currently I drink about 150 oz of water daily tho. Before when I didnt drink enough water I noticed some pimples but I dont know if they were related or not. I already knew of reports of people saying they cause breakouts if you dont drink enough water. Biotin is water soluble so yeah. Also With my current weight, I need to drink 142 oz of water per day, this is just the level of water my body needs to stay healthy (no ashy skin, dehydration, etc) so your water intake will vary but then again that is not directly related to the biotin.
10 mg per day? Any noticeable side effects?
That's the one I take. Once per day.
