Jazzymomma my baby dreads have gone crazy, I have about (tried to count) 33 babies mixed in with my mature ones. I think my dreads are going through some giant metamorphosis. The loose hair did not go into my existing dreads, so my dreads are thinner and there are twice the amount of them. I had a few babies form in the first couple of years but in the past year they have just exploded and sprouted all over my head. lol
aww theres the babies
im waiting for my loose ones to do this and the threee 2inchers to do this
OK Ixchel. I am leaving the naming up to you
Let me know what you decide.
aww they are cute little dreads, they do need to be named!
i know people that name their dreads. I have never done that
but the babies do have personality!
You could almost name the baby dreads as they seem to have character!
Sweet.
I didn't think there was sls in it....but I wasn't sure. I did wash with bs a whole lot in the first 2 years. My house is old and very cold especially in the bathroom. I do not have a shower. So it is just a pain for me to do bs/acv in the winter. So i only use it a few times in the summer now.
i have that one, too. lol! no, it doesn't have sls but the second ingredient is aloe and it makes my hair super soft. i have a whole shelf full of shampoos that i've tried. such a waste of money. i guess i'l have a lot of options once my hair matures though:)
I do keep a bottle of Kiss my face shampoo at the lake house. I don't have a bottle handy to look at the ingredients. I bought it at the health food store....but I heard they sell it at walmart. Can't remember if it has sls in it or not. It cleans and rinses well. But I very rarely use it. I just keep it for the few times i shower there in the summer. A bottle is so much more convenient than a bar soap when I am not at home.
i can't use maylees. i bought a bunch of them in the beginning but they leave my hair slimy. i use them as body soap now. i have one of the new dreadlocks soaps in dragons blood too but every time i use it my hair feels heavy. like its coated in residue. so frustrating. now i'm alternating between bs (no acv) washes with oils or a Lush shampoo bar. i know the shampoo bars have sls but with our hard water i really need a detergent type cleanser to just get my hair clean. the hair around my face is never going to dread either. its just too fine and it gets all the oils from my skin care products on it. oh well:)
