Thanks for the input. I kinda went ahead and undid 2 of the dreads to make them a little straighter. Maybe not the best idea but i think they will form better now. I just use baking soda when I wash them. I also put Moroccan Oil through it every couple days. Other than that, nothing else. I'm in the Milwaukee area. I took apart two fo them and fixed them a little. Hope this is ok. I'll head your warning but I really wanna fix the wavy ones. What should I do?!
they are looking good you dont' have to touch them up or do anything to help them "form nicely" they will do it in time. just give it to them without interference.
do you use apple cider vinegar after your baking soda? what are you using a comb for?
a tam is better than a beanie, you want them to be able to move around in there not just be squished down (unless you have a looser beanie).
where in WI are ya? i'm there myself

You don't need to fix them or maintain them or anything! Just leave em alone and let them do what they're gonna do!
Thanks guys. All I gotta do now is fix the ones that are too wavy. I had a buddy start them. They probably should have been touched up a while ago. Most are formed really nicely but others not so much. Some ends I had to cut because they formed to make like a "two-in-one" end to my dread which didn't look very good. At least once I week I take 2 cups of baking soda and 4 cups of water to wash them. Get in the hair then rinse with warm, then cold water. Towel on the head for preferred 10-12 minutes (I probably go 20). Been starting to use to comb a bit but other than that just washing and wearing a beanie. It's cold in WI so a beanie is always in season
