Greetings, my name is  Sunshine. I'm a mama of 4 grown children and Yia-Yia (grandma in Greek) to two BEAUTIFUL babies. Family is everything to me. My first time growing locks was in 1987 after multiple vacations to the USVI where I met my father's childhood Rasta friends. Intrigued by the music, food and way of life my eyes were open. My hair was very long (waist length) and curly when I stopped brushing it. I've had to r.i.p my dreads out over the years for various reasons and the "batch" I have now have been growing for 15 years. This is my 7th time growing regrowth of my locks.. my roots. I've never had extensions nor have I ever crocheted or knowingly harmed my locks. I don't use anything special as far as shampoos go however I may try Biotine shampoo as I've had health issues for the past 4 years and I'm afraid my locks may thin or fall out with  upcoming surgeries & treatments I need for recovery.
