And throw away the crochet hook. All crocheting does is damage. It breaks hairs into smaller and smaller pieces, which weakens your locks. Those broken hairs end up sticking out, looking like loose frizz that needs to be pulled back in. But the more you crochet, the more frizz is caused, and the more it makes you feel like you need to fix it. Just leaving them be will eventually clean up those frizzy hairs. And each time you crochet it actually delays progress.
