If you used wax, your locks will NEVER mature past the first day you put it in. Because wax is a hydrocarbon, it will NEVER wash out, either. It needs a detergent and a lot of scrubbing to get it out. By the time it's all out, your locks will probably have come completely undone, anyway. At 1 month, it would be better to start over with clean hair.
