Hey, cheeeerrrs. MIne are from the dreaded crochet hook, hahaha. Nah it's not all that bad, upkeep is minimal really, if you want to develop loops and unusual bits then you wash them regularly with standard shampoo, if not then you wash every few months, which is what i do. To make you need a nit comb and a 1.0mm crochet hook. Backcomb the length of hair then get the hook and make sideways twisting movements to pull it all together, there are some pretty good tutorials on youtube, which is mostly how i learned. Downsides: it will take hours and you will scab up your fingers (i did mine over a few days) You will also loose just under half of your hair length. Good luck!
