Okay, so I started my dread journey back in July. I hadn't done much research, no homework on how to start locks I thought everything would be simple. I started my Los with comb coils twisted with beeswax — I took them out a month later by untwisting and washing. I crocheted later, but I noticed my locs have this hard texture like prickly... I stopped crocheting after the 2 month, I'm using Jamaican black castor oil restore shampoo with acv and peppermit...I want my locks to be healthy and be able to hang and move freely, they are stiff and whenever I wash my hair is the only time they look neat. Do I need to re twist with gel or oil? Or do I need to clean the wax out?

let me know if you need me to post pictures !

you need wax b gone from www.dreadlockshampoo.com to get that evil wax out (its a scam and dread kliller) and it can take years to recover from the crochet mistake washing often to loosen them (don't use the Jamaican mango lime crap) and light conditioning with jojoba oil or similar will help speed the recovery

do not retwist at all it only causes balding
