im kinda lucky cause i always lkive on next to nothing but the lil bit i do make i can still make while there and whie there i spend nothing except what i drop in the hat so typicaly if the gatherings on the east coast if i stay just 10 days i endup with more money when i get home cause i saved more then traveling expenses..if its west coast tho i gotta stay 3 weeks or more to end up saving more then it costs to get there and back

ofcours this year gas is higher but im also making mor then usual..double what i usualy made almost but thats probly stikll less then 1/4 of what most ppl on here make (including the unemployed ones haha)

oh looks like by just asking 1 prerson i may have hooked up a schoolbus ride to the gathering with a stop at a bluegrassfest

The longer I'm gone the less money I make though. And I can't go wild in the woods forever yet. I'd love to but it's just not going to happen right yet.

doesnt matter what u make.. u find a rideshare and turn off your electric at home you will have more money when u get hiome then u would if u duidnt go the longer u stay the more u save

If we weren't currently living paycheque to paycheque at the moment I would definitely be planning for that. As it is, I'm looking into more local gatherings but it seems the BC/Canadian Rainbow Family isn't very active. Or I'm just not looking hard enough!

I tear up at every single Rainbow video I watch. They just make me so happy. I have got to get myself to one of these gatherings.
