Age difference in relationships

AGE. Would love to hear your views on age difference in relationships. Do you think that a larger age difference can change/impact where a relationship is going? Can you see any problems that may lay ahead in the future or have you been in a relationship previously where there were a few years' age difference?I'm 27 and have been having an online relationship with a 40 year old guy. Whilst some of my friends are supportive of the idea, I have a few that are repulsed of the idea. Funny thing is, in my opinion, I think he is at a perfect age for what I am looking for in a relationship. I am a mother of 3 and over the whole pub and club scene. Just looking for someone to settle down and enjoy my life with.But I am curious as to how you all feel about age in relationships too.Thanks
